Who runs dawgin
dawgin, at www.dawgin.com, is run by Degriz d.o.o., Gorica pri Šmartnem 45a, 3000 Celje, Slovenia (registration number 3595935000, VAT ID SI67287743), entered in the court register kept by the District Court in Celje. Write to us at [email protected].
dawgin is free of charge. There is nothing to buy in it, and no price applies to anything in these terms.
A game of fiction
Every player, club, arena and staff member in dawgin is invented. Any resemblance to real people or organisations is coincidental and unintended. dawgin is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by FIBA, the NBA or any real league or club.
The faces of players, staff and club presidents, the club crests and the pictures on achievement badges are generated by AI image software and show no real person or real club.
Companies and brands that sponsor clubs in the game are invented.
Your account
- You must be at least 15 years old.
- One account per person. You may not share, lend or sell an account, or run more than one in the same world.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your email and password safe.
Fair play
You may not:
- run more than one account in a world, or use an account that is not yours;
- arrange deals with another manager to move value between clubs;
- manipulate a match;
- play through bots or other automation;
- exploit a bug instead of reporting it;
- harass anyone, post hate speech, impersonate someone, publish someone's private information, or advertise;
- avoid a sanction by opening a new account;
- buy or sell anything from the game for real money.
What you write
Your manager name, the names of worlds and leagues you create, the face you pick, your messages and your reports stay yours. By submitting them you let us store them and show them in the game, and you confirm you have the right to submit them. Do not use the names of real clubs, leagues, sponsors or people, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Sanctions and appeals
Breaking these terms can lead, depending on how serious it is, to a note, a warning that lapses after 90 days, a 14-day restriction on the transfer market, removal from your club, a ban from a world, or a ban from the game.
You may appeal a sanction once, within 30 days, by writing to [email protected]. Where possible someone other than the person who imposed it reviews the appeal, and we aim to answer within 72 hours. The sanction applies while the appeal is open.
Credits and everything else in the game
Credits and every other thing in the game have no monetary value. They cannot be taken out of the game or exchanged for money or anything of value, and they give you no property right.
The service
dawgin is a free game in beta. It may contain faults, and we may change or reset worlds. We do not promise that your progress will be kept. We may change, rebalance, reset or end a world. We announce a reset or the end of a world in the game at least 14 days in advance, unless a serious fault or the law leaves no time. We may pause the service for maintenance.
How what you write is moderated
What you write in dawgin — your manager name, your messages, your feedback and your appeals — is moderated by people. Something is read after a report, or when we notice it ourselves. No automated system removes content or sanctions an account on its own.
To report a message or a manager, use Feedback and choose Rule violation in the game, or write to [email protected]. Both reach a person. You can also block a manager from writing to you, and they are not told.
If we remove something you wrote, restrict what you can do or sanction your account, we tell you what was done, which rule it broke and why, and how to appeal, unless the law forbids us to.

Reporting unlawful content
To report content you believe is unlawful or infringes your rights, write to [email protected] saying where it is and why, or report it from inside the game. We respond within 7 days at the latest, and at once where the content is obviously unlawful. We tell the person who posted it, who may answer, and keep a record of what we did.
Liability
We run the game with care, but cannot promise it is always available or free of faults. Our liability is limited as far as Slovenian and EU law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by Slovenian law. If you are a consumer in the EU you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
We publish changes here with their date, and tell signed-in managers of important ones before they apply. If you keep playing after a change applies, the new terms apply to you.
