One world. Real opponents.
Dawgin runs in persistent worlds on a real calendar, whether you are online or not.
Other clubs are run by other people, and every AI manager is labelled.
Two worlds are open today, 1 182 clubs in 81 leagues.

Every player is different
17 880 players live in the open worlds today, from superstars to young newcomers who can become one.
Each has thirty attributes you can read and six character traits you only learn over time; they grow, peak, age and get injured.
Your job is to find the best team for this season or the next, on a budget that is always limited.

Stories that need your call
A player turns up late for training, a star criticises you in public, a sponsor wants the whole shirt.
Each one arrives as a card with the situation and your choices.
Wait too long and your assistant answers for you.

Every dynasty starts with one job.

Create your managerEvery game, ball by ball
Games run on a clock, on a court you can watch.
Set your game plan, then call a timeout or make a substitution while the game runs.
After the buzzer you get the box score and the full play-by-play.

Your squad, as the scouts see it
No player comes with a number on his forehead: you see a band, and how sure the scouts are.
Scout the player and the band narrows.
Every figure opens into a breakdown that adds up.
See a club as a stranger does

Deal with people
Every player is under contract to somebody, so you deal with his club and then with him.
He counters, and he tells you what he will not move on.
Trades, loans, free agency and waivers each have a desk of their own.

The money, in the open
Every figure on the Finances page opens into its lines, from the cash curve to each week's closing balance.
The season's budget shows where the money goes, in wages, staff and facilities, against what the gate and sponsors bring in.
Set the ticket price and see what the next home night should draw.

Buy your own club
A club with no owner can be for sale, priced as a term sheet: the valuation, the deposit, the loan and the working capital.
Sign the deed and the business side of the club opens.
The bank takes back a club that stays in the red.

A board that judges you
You are a manager with a contract, a wage and a board that sets a mission each season.
Lose its confidence and you are dismissed, with severance.
Your career goes on at another club, or in another world.

Five more things to find
A few of the smaller things, each one something that really happens.
-
A rule for the bench
Call a timeout after a run of six points, or seven, or ten. Your bench follows it while the match plays without you.
-
Back the favourite, or fade them
Say yes or no to a club's title chances, and see how you did against the league when the season ends.
-
A youth academy with a date
A few prospects, a next-intake date and a weekly investment that you set, in steps of your own.
-
Awards night
Top rebounder, top playmaker, best young player and the best five, announced one category at a time.
-
A week of training
Practice or a session on each day. Your assistant runs it for you, and you can take it back.
Free to play, never pay to win
Dawgin is free, and there is nothing for sale today.
When something is sold, it will be a better view of what you already have, never players, money or an advantage in a match.
Every player and club badge is generated; no real person is in the game.
